This looks lovely, now that I get a better look at it. The color blending is nice and the chains are well-drawn. As for what she's chained by, it feels like, at least from what I know of the image and your comic, it's her female form and the feelings and emotions she's having as a result of the transformation.

Reminds me of Galaxia in Sailor stars.

The sadness, angst and conflict is transferred perfectly in this drawing. Not to speak of the divine beauty. It rips my heart but the pain is also sweet. I love it.

i love how it seems the dress melts into blood

This whole sketch has made me so sad  butttt I still love it!!! 

The dress and Naruto's hair slowly becoming blood as it moves away from him makes for a great visual. While obviously sad, I think this has a sort of tragic beauty to it. Well done.

And another awesome piece tonight. You are on a roll - I love this. The subtle reference to her Uzumaki chakra chains and the prevalence of red are very nice touch. It's haunting, in all honesty and whilst it might just be me, Naruto looks like she feels uncomfortable in her new dress - her stance and expressions are anything but amused, or happy. 

The singular chain hanging from her back does have red thread of destiny, as someone said.

This, the covers and I am coming to the conclusion the ending to Period will be anything but happy.

So full of meaning, I love it.
